AR Rahman Divorce: Music composer and Oscar winner AR Rahman is going to get divorced from his wife. After 29 years of marriage, AR Rahman and Saira Banu have decided to part ways. AR Rahman and Saira got married in the year 1995. They have three children named Khadija, Rahima and Ameen.
The lawyer of AR Rahman's wife Saira Banu has issued a statement revealing the reason for their divorce. According to which there was a rift in their relationship and in such a situation Saira decided to divorce her husband. Saira has also appealed to people not to interfere in her privacy.
Why is Saira Banu getting divorce from AR Rahman?
Saira Banu's lawyer said- 'After many years of marriage, Saira has taken the difficult decision of separation from her husband AR Rahman. This decision has come after significant emotional stress in their relationship. 'Despite their deep love for each other, the couple have found that stress and difficulties have created a gulf between them that neither party feels able to bridge at this time.'

The statement further said- 'Saira Banu emphasized that she has taken this decision due to pain and suffering. She requests privacy and understanding from the public during this challenging time, as she is going through this difficult phase of her life.

AR Amin, son of AR Rahman and Saira Banu, has also posted on Instagram story. The playback singer has requested people to take care of their privacy. Amin wrote in the post- 'At this time we appeal to everyone to respect our privacy. 'Thank you for understanding.'
