BNP has prepared proposals for police reform


The proposal from the committee formed by the BNP on 'Police Reforms' has been submitted to the party's chairperson's office. Although the proposal was supposed to be submitted on Saturday, the proposal was submitted on Thursday (November 14). This information was informed in a message sent by the committee to the media.

It is said that the proposal of the 'police reform' committee was supposed to be submitted on November 16, but it was submitted to the BNP Chairperson's office on the evening of November 14.

Party sources say that proposals for police reforms have been prepared. These proposals will be discussed in the party forum. Whether these recommendations will be given to the government or used in future police reforms will be decided in the party forum.

Earlier, BNP acting chairman Tarek Rahman formed a 6-member committee under the leadership of BNP Standing Committee member Hafiz Uddin Ahmed Bir Bikram. Other members of the committee are former IGP Md. Ashraful Huda, former Home Secretary SM Jahrul Islam, former IGP Md. Abdul Qayyum, former Member of Parliament Ansar Uddin Khan Pathan and PPM and former DIG Member Secretary Khan Saeed Hasan.
