The press wing of the chief adviser said, 'Dr. Muhammad Yunus will address the opening session of the World Leaders Climate Action Summit at COP29 on Wednesday between 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm Bangladesh time.
The COP29 summit began on Tuesday (November 11) in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. Professor Yunus is now in Baku on a four-day visit to attend the Climate Conference.
A message sent by the press wing said that the Chief Adviser met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish First Lady at the World Leaders Summit at the COP29 venue. President Erdoğan invited him to visit Türkiye. He assured Bangladesh of all possible assistance in its journey of deep reforms and building a prosperous country. Dr. Yunus invited them to visit Bangladesh.
