At the same time, to solve the problem of family card in the sale of products, the company has also prepared to start selling products through smart cards from next January. Apart from this, an initiative has been taken to re-investigate the dealers and appoint the necessary dealers.

In a press conference held at TCB's Dhaka Regional Office in Tejgaon Industrial Area of the capital on Saturday (November 9), Head of Dhaka Regional Office and Spokesperson of TCB Md. Humayun Kabir says these things.

According to the calendar, the holy month of Ramadan will start from March 2 next year.

It was informed at this time that in the implementation of TCB's huge campaign, 20 thousand metric tons of lentils, 2 crore liters of edible oil, 10 thousand metric tons of sugar and 10 thousand metric tons of chickpeas in the holy month of Ramadan will be sold all over the country through import under the guidance of the Ministry of Commerce. He will sell 1 thousand 500 metric tons of dates at subsidized price.

In the press conference, he said, apart from providing products to 1 crore card holders, TCB is currently working with the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Labor and BGME to provide products to garment workers. Also, the products are being sold in 50 spots in Dhaka and 20 trucks in Chittagong as per the instructions of the government. He also said that the amount will be increased if necessary.

At that time, the spokesperson of TCB said that some complaints have been raised about TCB's family card. He said that 57 lakh smart family cards have been produced so far.

He said, 'In order to solve the problem of family card, we have given 4 letters to the district administration and the city corporation in the changed situation. In that letter previous card holders are requested to provide updated information of remaining cards including changes, additions, deletions, modifications (if required). But due to the recent reshuffle of the district administration and city corporation, we are yet to get the data. Due to this, TCB products are having some problems in reaching the beneficiaries. But we hope that they will be resolved soon.'

“Apart from updating the family card, our 8250 dealers are also being re-examined. If there is no dealer in any area after re-survey, the dealer will be appointed soon. For this, the recruitment process has already been advanced with the application from the dealers. The responsibility of TCB is to deliver the products to the dealers as directed by the Ministry of Commerce every month from local and if possible foreign markets. After that, all the responsibilities including distribution and monitoring are entrusted to the local administration.
