Four people, including a minor, died after their Bolero fell into a ditch in Ganjhot area of ​​Tehsil Mahor on Thursday morning. Two people injured in the accident have been admitted to the government hospital in Reasi.

According to the information, physical education teacher Shabir Ahmed Nag, resident of Deval, had purchased a four-wheeler three days ago on a permit for business purposes. On Thursday morning, he left Jammu for Mahor Deval with relatives and some passengers.

The vehicle was being driven by resident Bashir Ahmed. While taking the first round, after passing through Mahor and a few kilometers behind Deval, the Bolero went out of control and overturned in a deep ditch.

As soon as the accident was known, local people reached the spot. Other drivers passing by immediately started rescue operations. The injured were taken to Mahor CHC. Here driver Bashir Ahmed, teacher Manzoor Ahmed and ten-year-old Ulfat Jaan were declared dead.

Another injured Ghulam Mohidin resident of Lad died during treatment. Nine year old Irtiqa daughter of Manzoor Ahmed and Shabir Ahmed son of Abdullah Nag resident of Deval are seriously injured in the accident. They have been referred to the district hospital after first aid.

Police have registered the case and started investigating the reasons behind the incident. Fourteen people have died in different road accidents in Mahore in the last one month.
