World leaders rushed to congratulate Donald Trump on Wednesday. This victory is considered an unprecedented victory for Trump against Kamala Harris in the presidential election.
European leaders in particular were quick to offer congratulations and cooperation to Trump. But Europe's response to Trump since he was first elected in 2016 has been chilly. However, this time the response was different. But one big exception to this congratulation was Russia. Russia's foreign ministry reacted coldly to the win and said there would be no congratulatory message from President Vladimir Putin.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Trump's victory “the greatest comeback in history” and cited it as a strong commitment to US-Israel relations.
Ukraine: ‘A just peace’
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky hailed Trump's victory as an 'impressive victory' and expressed hope that Trump's tenure would help bring a 'just peace' to Ukraine.
NATO: ‘Working together for peace and strength’
NATO chief Mark Rutte said Trump's victory would keep the alliance strong. He said, under his leadership we can work together for peace and strength.
European Union: ‘Strong Transatlantic Agenda’
European Union chief Ursula von der Leyen warmly congratulated Trump on his victory and mentioned working on a strong transatlantic agenda.
United Kingdom: ‘Historic electoral victory’
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer congratulated Trump on his 'historic victory' and expressed optimism about the future of the US-UK special relationship.
France: ‘Honor and ambition’
French President Emmanuel Macron has expressed interest in working with Trump on the basis of respect and ambition. He said, this relationship will bring more peace and prosperity.
Germany: ‘we are better together’
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in a congratulatory message to Trump, “We are good together.” He added that the US and the EU are equally important economic areas and want to deepen their relationship.
Mexico: ‘No worries’
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said that Mexico is not worried about Trump's victory. He said Mexico is an independent and sovereign country, and will maintain good relations with the United States.
Saudi Arabia: ‘close relationship’
Saudi King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sent congratulatory messages to Trump. According to the message, friendly relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States will be further strengthened.
Reactions of India and other countries
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Trump 'from the bottom of his heart'. He said, I hope our relations will reach new heights through this victory.
The leaders of South Korea, South Africa, Japan and Turkey also expressed hope to work with Trump to strengthen their alliance.
