Arab Finance – The Minister of Petroleum discusses with the President of Total Energy International its current and future plans


Arab Finance: Engineer Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, held a session of discussions with Patrick Pouyanne, CEO of Total Energies, the international company. The meeting witnessed a review of the progress of the work and the company’s targeted investment plans during the coming period in the activities of research, exploration and production of oil and gas, and ways to improve and increase rates. Production in the company’s Bashrush development area, the position of Total Energies’ contribution to the gas liquefaction station in Idku, as well as the position of Total’s expansion into the activity of marketing and supplying aviation fuel.

The meeting also touched on the company’s desire to obtain new exploration areas in the Mediterranean Sea in light of the new global bidding for the year 2024 announced by the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) to search for natural gas and crude oil.
