July people! Bangladesh Information & Broadcasting Advisor Mohammad Nahid Islam disagrees with mastermind theory

This time: The collapse of the Hasina government is due to spontaneous public awakening in Bangladesh! Or, was there a conspiracy behind it? Almost two months after Hasina resigned and left the country, this argument has not been resolved. Many people see the hand of foreign powers like Pakistan or America behind the 'July Revolution' of Bangladesh! In this atmosphere, Muhammad Yunus, the chief adviser of the interim government, went to the United Nations session and provoked a different kind of controversy. He went to an event of the former American president Bill Clinton and introduced his special assistant Mahfuz Alam as the 'mastermind of the July revolution' to the whole world. Since then, there has been an uproar on social media. Writing began in the mainstream media as well. Does that mean the fall of Hasina's government was just a conspiracy – the question arises.

Mohammad Nahid Islam, working as an information and broadcasting adviser to the interim government from the anti-discrimination student movement, opened his mouth on the issue on a TV show in Bangladesh. He made it clear that he does not agree with the term 'mastermind' or 'mastermind' of the movement. According to him, the movement was completely 'leaderless' in July. The movement was carried forward by the common people.

In Nahid's words, 'anti-discrimination student movement is a platform of ordinary students. Where leaders of various parties were also present. Many gave advice in the conduct of the movement.' Then why did Yunus suddenly put forward Mahfuz Alam?

Nahid's explanation – 'Like many others, he also advised us from time to time. I think he (Mahfuz) himself does not agree with the word mastermind. Dr. Yunus may have used the term lovingly! The movement has the advice of many people, but we see it as a spontaneous movement of the people.'

Several students of the country also claim that the July movement was successful because there was no mastermind. Now, however, there is no dearth of people to take credit. After Hasina's resignation, I saw how many revolutionaries were born!
