Amidst the fear of direct war between Israel and Iran in the Middle East, now China also seems to be jumping into it. China will provide emergency medical supplies to war-torn Lebanon, China's official foreign aid agency, the China International Development Cooperation Agency, said on Tuesday. At the same time, Israel has increased the intensity of its attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon. At the same time, Hezbollah also fired more than 100 missiles at Haifa city of Israel on Monday.
Li Ming, spokesperson of this Chinese government agency, has said in a statement that after the recent increase in war, there have been explosions and air strikes at many places in Lebanon, causing a large number of casualties. “At the request of the Lebanese government, the Chinese government has decided to provide emergency humanitarian medical supplies to help Lebanon's health infrastructure,” the statement said. Even before this, China had assured help to Lebanon.
Last month, China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi met Lebanon's Foreign Minister Abdullah Habib last month and assured support. During this time, the Chinese Foreign Minister had also condemned the Israeli pager attacks. During this time, China had said that no matter what the situation is, it will stand with its Arab brothers. China had also said that the problems of the Middle East will not end with war.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of completion of one year of Hamas attack, Israel has started carrying out vigorous attacks in Gaza as well as in Lebanon. The center of war has now shifted towards northern Lebanon, where Israeli forces are fighting with Hezbollah. Iran-backed Hezbollah began attacks on Israel on October 8 in support of Hamas.
