Milton may hit Florida's densely populated area 'Tampa Bay' on Wednesday. Now it is 1000 km from Tampa. Tampa's population is more than 3 million. The storm is expected to weaken as it reaches Tampa Bay. After this it will move from central Florida towards the Atlantic Ocean.
Hurricane Milton is currently passing through the Gulf of Mexico. The speed of the storm on Monday night was around 285 kmph. It's headed to Florida State. Due to the storm, emergency alerts have been issued in 51 of Florida's 67 counties.
Coastal areas in Florida are being evacuated. So far, about 5 lakh people have been evacuated to safe places. Hurricane Helen had hit America before. At least 225 people died in this.

What is the difference between Typhoon, Hurricane and Tornado? Storm is a kind of disturbance in the atmosphere, which comes through strong winds and is accompanied by rain, snow or hail. When they occur on land, they are called normal storms, but storms that arise from the sea are called hurricanes. Hurricanes are more dangerous than ordinary storms.
Hurricane, cyclone and typhoon are the same thing. Cyclones are called by different names all over the world. For example, cyclones formed in North America and Caribbean Islands are called hurricanes, cyclones occurring in Philippines, Japan and China are called typhoons and storms occurring around Australia and the Indian Ocean i.e. India are called cyclones.
From the point of view of the oceans, cyclones formed in the Atlantic and North-West oceans are called hurricanes. Storms that form in the northwest Pacific Ocean are called typhoons.
Whereas the storms that arise in the South Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean are called cyclones. For this reason, the sea storms that come in the areas around India are called cyclones.
At the same time, tornadoes are also strong storms, but they are not cyclones, because they are mostly formed on land rather than in the sea. Most of the tornadoes occur in America.
