UK Pakistani Taxi Driver Daughter Murder Case | London News | Britain- Pakistani origin driver killed his daughter: tied him with tape and beat him with a cricket bat, broke 25 bones; confessed to the crime

A British taxi driver of Pakistani origin living in London beat his daughter to death. The name of the accused father is Urfan Sharif. Urfan confessed to murder charges during the trial in London on Wednesday.

He was accused of murdering his 10-year-old daughter Sara. Sarah's body was found in her bed at home in Woking, south-west London, on 10 August 2023.

After the murder, 42-year-old taxi driver Urfan had fled to Pakistan along with his wife Beinash Batool (30), the girl's uncle Faisal Malik (29) and 5 children. After going to Islamabad, he called the London police and said that he had beaten his daughter badly.

After this, when London Police reached the house to investigate, they found the girl dead. The police also found a note from the girl.

In the note found with Sara by the police, it was written –

The police had registered a case against the three and started investigation.

25 bones were broken, marks of cuts and burns were found on the body.

When the girl's body was found, there were marks of injuries, tooth bites and burns on her body. The postmortem report found that the girl was murdered by beating her. The girl's 25 bones, including her ribs, shoulder and spine, were broken in the attack.

During the trial, Urfan admitted that on August 8, 2023, he had tied Sara with packaging tape and beaten her. He had attacked the girl with a cricket bat and also tried to strangulate her. Due to this the girl's neck bone was broken.

First accused wife, later confessed himself

When Urfan was arrested, he first accused his wife of murdering the girl. She said in the statement that Batool is Sara's stepmother. He forced me to murder the girl and confess the crime.

But during the trial, when the wife's lawyer interrogated Urfan, he said that the entire responsibility for the murder was his. Urfan also admitted to tying Sara and beating her.

However, he told the court that he did not want to harm the girl, hence he is not guilty of murder charges.

According to ARY News, a similar case came to light from Pakistan last week. When a man murdered his 7 year old child and pretended to have kidnapped him. He went to a police station in Lahore and lodged a missing report of his son. Later on investigation it was found that he had killed his son and buried him in the house itself.
