The United Kingdom signaled the arrest of Netanyahu

The UK has signaled the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity. Yesterday Thursday, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant against Netanyahu and his former defense minister, Yoav Galant.

The total member states of this court are 124 countries. This includes the UK. The British government has indicated that 'wanted man' Netanyahu will be arrested if he comes to the UK.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer's spokesman said in this regard, “The United Kingdom will always comply with its obligations to comply with domestic and international law.”

Will Netanyahu be arrested? When directly asked such a question, he said in reply, 'I will not talk about any specific case.'

Earlier, another British spokesman answered the question more harshly. He said, 'We respect the independence of international courts. which is the primary international institution for investigating and prosecuting the world's most serious crimes and international affairs.'

Earlier, Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris also said that if Netanyahu comes to Ireland, he will be arrested. When he was asked about this, he directly replied, 'Yes, of course. We support the International Court of Justice and enforce their mandate.'

However, another powerful country in the world, US President Joe Biden, condemned the warrant issued against Netanyahu. He called it 'disgusting'.

Irish Foreign Minister Michael Martin said on Friday that he opposes President Biden's statement.
