Pakistani minister said- India responsible for air pollution
artificial rain option flop The Punjab government of Pakistan had conducted an experiment last year in December 2023 with the help of UAE to tackle smog. Artificial rain occurred in Lahore, one of the most polluted cities in the world. In this, due to cloud seeding experiment, there was rain in about 10 percent areas. The then minister Bilal Afzal had said that after artificial rain, AQI had come down to 150, but this relief was only for 2-3 days.
At the same time, now that Lahore has come on top among the most polluted cities of the country, the Pakistan government is once again planning to provide artificial rain. But the cost is expected to be quite high. At the same time, an experiment was also conducted in Delhi a few months ago, but it was not successful.
