Russia's ground forces are now much larger than when the operation in Ukraine began in February 2022. But their capacity has deteriorated. NATO's top military officer made these comments on Monday (November 25). British news agency Reuters reported this.
Dutch Admiral Rob Bauer, chairman of NATO's military committee, said the quality of Russian forces had deteriorated. He said this referring to their military equipment and training of soldiers.
He also said that the current Russian forces are not as threatening as in February 2022. So we have some time to prepare ourselves. This time should be used to increase investment in the defense sector.
