Washington Adventist University and an organization America India Minority Association (AIAM) jointly honored Prime Minister Modi with 'Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. awarded the World Peace Prize. He has been given this award for his efforts for peace in the society and protecting the interests of minorities.
AIAM is a non-governmental organization whose aim is to create unity among the Indian American diaspora in America. President of the organization Jasdeep Singh said that under the leadership of PM Modi, India has adopted an inclusive approach, in which there are equal opportunities for all citizens.
The organization is impressed by PM Modi's visit to developed India
AIAM founder Jasdeep Singh said that India is achieving inclusive development under the leadership of PM Modi. In this, people of all religions are getting equal opportunities. Meanwhile, Indian Minorities Federation convener and Member of Parliament Satnam Singh Sandhu said that 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' has worked to increase unity in the society and has given equal opportunities to everyone.
Indian-American Jew Nissim Rivben praised Prime Minister Modi for strengthening historic ties with India's Jewish community. Rivben said –
“What few people know is that in our 120-year-old Jewish girls' school in Calcutta and two Sassoon schools in Mumbai, the majority of students are Muslims. Even during the period of terrible violence in the Middle East, no one has cast a single stone on these schools Thrown. These schools are in Muslim dominated areas. This shows the harmony of the Indian people.”
