Pakistan has expelled 4,000 Afghans

The country's government has returned more than 3,000 Afghan citizens living in Pakistan. On Friday (April 7th), a senior official of the country said the process was underway under the initiative of those who illegally resided in Pakistan. The British messenger Reuters reported the news.

Pakistan Home Ministry Advisor Talal Chowdhury has said that only Afghan citizens who have legitimate papers will be able to stay in Pakistan. The rest will either return to their own gourd or the government will expel the party. The deadline has been extended till the last day of this month.

Authorities said illegal Afghans were being sent back to the northwestern Torkham border of Pakistan. Until then, people waiting for the expulsion have been kept in temporary camps in different cities.

It was warned from Islamabad that Afghan people who were staying in Pakistan without legitimate papers, they should voluntarily move to the country by March 7. Later, the deadline was extended until April 1.

It should be noted that the program is underway as part of the illegal foreign repatriation plan, which was launched in 2021.

Criticizing the Afghans, the country has said that Islamabad is forcing them to force them.

Afghans are the largest immigrant group in Pakistan. Islamabad has blamed these immigrants for terrorist attacks and various crimes committed from time to time in the country. However, Afghanistan has always denied the allegations.

Meanwhile, Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is going to visit Kabul this week for a high level meeting. According to a statement published by the ministry, the discussion will emphasize the issues of security, trade, connection and strengthening the people of the people.
