Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu once again made his intention clear that he will not back down under any circumstances in the ongoing war against his enemies. In this statement issued on Saturday, Netanyahu said that we will win this war. This statement came at a time when a drone from Lebanon targeted his private house in Sassariya. However, he did not give any direct reply to this attack.
Netanyahu said in a video message released in English and Hebrew that two days ago we eliminated Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. Describing it as a fight for Israel's existence, he said that we will fight it till the last breath. In the video, Netanyahu, wearing a black polo shirt and glasses, standing in a park, said that he was proud of his soldiers and commanders. In his statement, Netanyahu said, “On Sinwar there was a terrorist who beheaded our people, raped our women and burned our children alive. We have eliminated him and will now deal with the rest of Iran's terrorist groups.”
It is noteworthy that on Saturday, a drone targeted the residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The Israeli government said that in the wake of rocket fire from Lebanon, sirens sounded in Israel on Saturday morning and along with this, a drone attack was carried out towards the residence of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Saysriya. The Prime Minister's spokesperson said in a statement that neither Netanyahu nor his wife were present at the Prime Minister's residence when the attack was carried out.
Hezbollah did not claim responsibility for the drone attack but said it launched several rocket attacks on northern and central Israel. This attack came at a time when Israel is expected to respond to the attack by Iran earlier this month. Meanwhile, Israel carried out at least three airstrikes on Beirut's southern suburb of Dahiyeh, where Hezbollah has offices.
