Israel's attack on Hezbollah's missile in southern Beirut

Israeli army says they have attacked a building in South Beirut. They claimed that Hezbollah's missile was stored in the building. The attack on Sunday (April 23) is seen as another test of the delicate ceasefire in Israel with Iran-backed Hezbollah. British news agency Reuters reported.

On the live broadcast of Reuters, a large smoke coil is flying from the building. About an hour after the Israeli army ordered the residents of the Hadith region to be removed, there were attacks there.

In a statement, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Cartz said that Hezbollah's accurate missiles have created an important threat to the state of Israel.

Hezbollah has not yet commented on the matter.

This latest attack has put pressure on the ceasefire to end last year's devastating conflict in the US.

Jinnin Henis-Pluskart, a special coordinator of the United Nations Lebanon, said the attack on South Beirut's suburbs has reappeared the fear of public panic and violence.

“We call on all parties to refrain from any steps that weaken the implementation of the proposal number 1 of the UN Security Council,” he said. This proposal ended the Israeli-Hizbullah war of the 21st.

Earlier this month, four people, including a Hezbollah officer in the southern part of Beirut, were killed in an Israeli airstrike. It was a second Israeli attack in the Hezbollah -controlled area over five days.

The attacks in southern Beirut have begun again when the level of violence has increased across the region. Israel has resumed attacks in Gaza after a two-month ceasefire, and the United States has attacked Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis.
