Hamas, the militant organization of Palestine, will release 6 Israeli hostages on Saturday i.e. Saturday. It is double the number already fixed. In return, Israel will release 602 Palestinian prisoners. The release of the hostages on Saturday will be the last release in the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.
The hostages that Hamas will release are named Eliya Cohen, Omar Shem Tov, Tal Shoham, Omar Venkart, Hishham al-Said and Avera Mengisto. Earlier, the news came that Israel will release all women and Palestinian prisoners under the age of 19 years since October 2023.
Along with this, the Israeli Egypt will give permission to carry debris removal machines in Gaza through the Egyptian border. This will be the seventh exchange of hostage and Palestinian prisoners under the ceasefire deal implemented last month.

Hamas handed over the bodies of 4 hostages on Thursday
Hamas has returned the bodies of 4 Israeli hostages to Israel on Thursday. These included the bodies of Shiri Bibas and his 2 children Ariel Bibas and Kefir Bibas. The fourth body belonged to 83 -year -old Oded Lifisted. However, Israel says that the body assigned to him is not of Shiri Bibas.
When Hamas held him hostage on 7 October 2023, Ariel was 4 years old and Kefir was 9 months old. Yorden Bibas, father of these children, was released earlier this month.
33 Israeli hostages are to be released under the first phase. In this, Kidnap 19 hostage of Israel has been released in lieu of more than 1100 Palestinian prisoners so far. Israel says that eight out of the remaining 14 have died.

Ceasefire deal being completed in three phases
This deal of exchange of prisoners between Israel and Palestine will be completed in three phases. In this, hostage will be swapped for 42 days.
First Phase:
- From January 19 to March 1, there will be a complete ceasefire in Gaza. Hamas 33 will release Israeli hostages. Israel will release 33 Palestinian prisoners in lieu of one of its hostages daily. 50 Palestinian prisoners will be released in lieu of each Israeli female soldier.
Second phase:
- It was said that on the 16th day of the first phase, i.e. by February 3, everything goes well, then the negotiation on the second phase plan will begin. The attack will not be done during this time. The remaining hostages will be released alive. However, the conversation has not started yet.
- Israel will release 1 thousand Palestinian prisoners, out of which around 190 prisoners have been serving sentence for more than 15 years.
Third Phase:
- Gaza will be resettled in the last phase of this deal. It will take 3 to 5 years. The bodies of hostage killed in Hamas's possession will also be handed over to Israel.
