Along with Lebanon, Iran was also involved in the drone attack on the private residence of Israeli PM Netanyahu on Saturday. Regarding this attack, Israel's local news channel said that this attack was carried out by Lebanon, while its mastermind was Iran. The report said that through this attack, Tehran, in collaboration with Hezbollah, has tried to eliminate Israeli PM Netanyahu.

Local news channel 12 quoted a senior Israeli official as saying that Iran had carried out this attack on behalf of Hezbollah in an attempt to eliminate Netanyahu. Tehran's name has appeared for the first time in the channel's social media post following the attack on the Israeli PM's residence by Hezbollah.

After the attack on his private residence, Netanyahu said he was safe. He said that our army had killed terrorist Hamas Chief Yahya Sinwar only two days ago. We will continue our fight against terrorism. Be it attack or anything else, nothing can stop me from protecting my country. In the statement issued from the Israeli PM's office after the attack, it was said that the Israeli PM and his wife Caesarea were not present at the spot during this attack. There is no injury to any of them.

Regarding this attack, the Israeli Army claimed that a building was exploded using this drone which came from Lebanon. Apart from this, two more drones were also found in this area which were destroyed by the Israeli army.

Fighting continues between Israel and Hezbollah. On Friday itself, Hezbollah had said that it would attack Israel with guided missiles. After the death of Hamas Chief Sinwar and Hezbollah Chief Nasrallah, both Iran and Hezbollah are distraught. Israel is also carrying out air strikes in Lebanon in response to these continuous attacks. Only last month, Israel had landed its army on Lebanese soil, which is still fighting a direct war with Hezbollah fighters. On Friday, the Israeli army said that it had destroyed Hezbollah's regional command centers through air strikes.
