JP Nadda, the national president of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in central India and the Union Health Minister, said that if the BJP comes to power in Jharkhand, every Bangladeshi will be thrown out. He even commented that those Bangladeshi infiltrators who married local women, and their children will not be given tribal rights.
According to the report of Indian news agency ANI, JP Nadda said this in a public meeting organized in Palamau, Jharkhand last Saturday. He said that if the BJP government comes to power in Jharkhand, every Bangladeshi will be thrown out of the state and the children born to the infiltrators after marrying local women will not be given tribal rights.
Meanwhile, JP Nadda blamed the ruling Janmukti Morcha and Congress coalition government in Jharkhand for Bangladeshi infiltrators in the state and announced that the BJP would take strict action against illegal immigrants.
The BJP president said, “Every Bangladeshi will be kicked out of Jharkhand and the way they want to get tribal land rights by marrying our tribal sisters, they will not be given that right, nor will their children be given tribal rights.”
At the time, Nadda termed the JMM-Congress coalition government as a 'cheat', 'liar' and a 'government of thieves'. Nadda criticized the ruling JMM-Congress government in Jharkhand, alleging that it has failed to fulfill important promises like unemployment benefits, government jobs and financial assistance for women's advancement.
Nadda said, 'They (JMM-Congress) said they will provide unemployment benefits, government jobs and financial assistance for the upliftment of women. Did something happen? It is fraudulent government; It is a government of liars; This is a government supporting thieves.'
Earlier, Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah also heavily criticized the Jharkhand government over the issue of Bangladeshi infiltrators. He accused the JMM-Congress government in Jharkhand of being the most corrupt government in the country. He urged the people to remove this government from power.
In a public meeting, Amit Shah said, 'Congress-JMM government is the most corrupt in the country. This government needs change. If you want to stop this corruption, oust Jharkhand Janamukti Morcha and Congress government from power. Those who stole your money will not be spared.'
It is to be noted that the polling for the 81 seat assembly elections of Jharkhand will be held in two phases on November 13 and 20 and the counting of votes will be on November 23. Earlier, JMM won 30 seats, BJP 25 and Congress 16 in the 2019 assembly elections.
