Vehicles were set on fire outside of multiple prisons in France and were shot in a jail with automatic weapons. The government considers the specific attack on the night as a revenge for anti -drug trafficking.
Law Minister Gerald Darmanin described it as “trying to intimidate”. According to the Parisian magazine, the seven prisons were targeted in Southern France, X-O-Proven, Marse, Marse, Valas and Neem and Paris.
The office of the anti -terrorist prosecutor of France is investigating the incidents. In the X post, Darmanin said he was going with the help of the victims of the cotton jail where the firing was fired.
He did not directly responsible anyone, but said the government was facing drug trafficking and taking measures that would deeply disrupt the activities of criminal networks.
Home Minister Bruuno Retaio X writes, “The government's response should be ruthless.” He demanded the invaders in the jail and the officials under the supervision of the officers.
The union of the prison workers, FO Justice, expressed deep concern and anger after the serious night attack. In the picture posted on the Union X, the prison parking cars and the main gate of the jail were shot.
Union prisoners have sought urgent steps to protect the workers. The attack took place on Monday night after a fire broke out in seven vehicles at the National Jail Administration School in France last Sunday.
The union said in a statement that it is worrying that some people are no longer hesitant to attack the property of the prison directly symbolized by state authority.
Although a group has not yet claimed responsibility, the Parisian report says DDPF has been found in the damaged vehicle. The AFP said the anarchist slogan was also seen in some places.
According to an AFP source, the attacks are integrated and clearly related to the anti -drug government's strategy.
A law is going to be passed in the French parliament, which has a special prosecutor office proposal to tackle drug crimes and will give investigators new power.
