According to the IDF, Jafar Faour was responsible for the rocket attacks on Israel. This includes attacks on Kibbutz Ortal, Majdal Shams and Metula. 12 children were killed in Majdal Shams and 5 people were killed in Metula.
IDF said- Faour was responsible for terrorist attacks carried out from eastern Lebanon. From where the first rocket was launched towards Israeli territory on 8 October.
At the same time, according to the report of Times of Israel, Israeli Navy commandos raided northern Lebanon on the night of 2 November and arrested a person associated with Hezbollah. The raid took place about 140 kilometers north of Israel's maritime border with Lebanon.
The IDF had said that the Navy's Shayet 13 commando unit was involved in this operation. Media reports named Imad Amhaj, a Hezbollah member who was considered by the IDF to be in the terrorist group's navy. Amhaj has been detained for questioning by Special Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Unit 504 of the Military Intelligence Directorate.

Qasim was born in 1953 in Kafar Kila village, Lebanon. In the 1970s, Qasim became part of the Shia Amal movement in Lebanon. Amal's job was to fight for the rights of Shias.
Qassim later became involved with the Hezbollah movement in the early 1980s and was among the founding members of the organization.
Qasim has been providing Shia Islamic education in Beirut for decades. Qasim became the deputy secretary general of Hezbollah in 1991. He is also a member of Hezbollah's Sura Council.
