Iran-backed Lebanese armed group Hezbollah carried out drone attacks on Israel's army headquarters and defense ministry. The armed group claimed to carry out the attack in the heart of Tel Aviv on Wednesday (November 13) local time.
Hezbollah said in a statement that an “explosive drone” attack was carried out on the headquarters of the Israeli Defense Forces in Tel Aviv, Israel's commercial center. However, Hezbollah did not say anything about whether there was any damage or loss of life in this attack.
Israel's military says it intercepted two drones and 40 rockets fired from Lebanon. However, there were no casualties in this attack by the Lebanese armed group.
Apart from this, the Israeli Armed Forces (IDF) did not provide any specific information about the targeting of any area of Tel Aviv by these drones and projectiles.
According to the statement of the armed Hezbollah, Hezbollah fighters carried out an air strike on the Kiriya military base in Israel for the first time. The military base in Kiria is used as the headquarters of Israel's Ministry of Defense and personnel. It also houses the offices of Israel's War Management and Air Force Combat Control and Supervision Authority.
