The hearing in the case of canceling the sentence of Donald Trump, found guilty in the porn star case, has been postponed. A hearing on canceling Trump's sentence was to be held in New York court on Tuesday. New York Court Judge Juan M. Merchan said that he is postponing the hearing in this case till November 19.
Earlier last week, Trump's lawyers had asked the court to postpone the hearing in this case. Trump has recently won the presidential election. On May 30 this year, the court had convicted porn star Stormy Daniels of paying her to keep her quiet.
After being found guilty, Trump in August asked the Federal Court to intervene in the case. After this the Federal Court sent the case back to the New York Court.
Case before becoming President in 2016
Cases were pending against Trump for paying money to silence porn star Stormy Daniels and falsifying business records during the election campaign. This matter happened before he was elected President of America in 2016. After its disclosure, this was the first time in American history that a criminal case was filed against a President.

34 charges against Trump in porn star case
- Trump has been charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records. All these charges are related to giving 1 lakh 30 thousand dollars (about 1 crore 7 lakh rupees) to porn star Stormy Daniels to remain silent before the 2016 presidential election.
- 11 charges relate to check signing. The other 11 charges relate to false invoices Cohen submitted to the company and the remaining 12 charges relate to providing false information in records.
- Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen had alleged that he had given money to Stormy at Trump's behest, so that she would not say anything about the affair with Trump before the 2016 election.
- The allegation is that Trump returned the money to Cohen after becoming President. For this he gave several checks to Cohen for 10 months. They showed it in the records as legal fees, which was actually a payment made to hide a crime.
