Hannah Kobayashi, an adventure photographer from Hawaii's Maui island, mysteriously disappeared from Los Angeles, USA between November 8 and 11. This time, Hannah's father was found dead in an area near the Los Angeles airport.
Hannah, 30, was traveling from Hawaii to New York City when she went missing, the New York Post reported Monday. However, he had a layover at Los Angeles International Airport before reaching New York. But when Hannah disappeared from there, Hannah's 58-year-old father, Ryan Kobayashi, went to Los Angeles to find her.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Ryan's body was found early Sunday morning in a parking lot near the airport. Apparently, the incident is believed to be a suicide.
A few days ago, Ryan was on the streets of Los Angeles handing out posters about his daughter's disappearance. At the time, he said, 'I will do my best until I find Hannah. He was a great man, who brought joy to many lives.'
A trip to New York City is said to be on photographer and adventurer Hannah's bucket list (lifetime dream) in personal life. He was on that way last November 8. However, he missed the flight from Los Angeles to New York after a layover that day.
The next day, on November 9, Hannah was spotted at a bookstore at The Grove, a popular outdoor mall in Los Angeles. A day later he also attended a LeBron James event. He was spotted on CCTV footage at a Metro stop in downtown Los Angeles on November 11. But at that place he was accompanied by a man whom his family did not know.
Hannah's aunt Lori Pigeon claimed her niece was not doing well. He said, 'She is not safe and not alone.'
The family claimed that the police contacted them 10 days after Hannah went missing.
Before disappearing, Hannah sent a cryptic message to a friend. In the message he mentioned that everything was taken away from him through fraud. And it was done by someone he thought he loved.
Hannah's sister Sydney Kobayashi described the messages as 'very strange'. Hannah mentions in the message that she is scared and can't go back home. After a while his messages stopped.
