Tesla Chief Elon Musk and Businessman Vivek Ramaswamy have announced recruitment for the new DoGE (Department of Government Efficiency) department of the US government. This information has been given on social media X.

However, only those people can send messages to DoGE who have a verified account of X. Its price in America is 8 dollars (675 rupees) every month. Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will review the top 1% candidates who send CVs.
Ramaswamy said – this is not a job like a government job The post does not mention what experience an applicant should have for a job in DoGE. However, along with this Musk has also said that no money will be given for this work.
Musk wrote-

Vivek Ramaswamy said that this job is not like a government job in which people do very little or no work. In this, people will not be able to make money through corrupt means.
After winning the election for the second time, Donald Trump has started this department to eliminate government bureaucracy and save money of the government. Trump said that the DoGE department will operate until July 4, 2026. This new system will create panic among the people who waste government money.
The DoGE department will advise the government from outside. Trump has given the responsibility of DoGE to two big businessmen, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy.
Musk said – the government will save 2 trillion dollars from the new department.
Trump proposed the formation of the DoGE in early September. Earlier in August, he had said that if he becomes President, he will consider giving Musk a cabinet post or an advisory role in his administration.
Musk has described this project on social media as 'America's last chance'. He claimed that without it the country would go bankrupt. He claimed that New York Metropolitan spent Rs 6.5 crore for fire alarm.
Musk also alleged that the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases spent more than Rs 4 crore 'to research HIV in transgender monkeys'. This is wasteful expenditure.
Musk said that the functioning of DoGE will be posted online to bring transparency in the system. Information about which foolish schemes the public's tax money is being spent on will be given separately.
Regarding DoGE, Musk had said that he would be able to cut government expenditure by at least 2 trillion dollars (168 lakh crores) through the new department. However, some experts are calling it impossible. According to the Washington Post, Musk will be able to do this only if he cuts important programs like the defense budget or social security.
