China on Monday threatened that it would retaliate on countries trying to make trade agreements with the US at the cost of Chinese interests. According to a report by government news agency Xinhua, a spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce reacted to the report, stating that the US is preparing to pressurize other countries to limit trade relations with China in exchange for fees exemption.
The spokesperson said that China strongly opposed any agreement to be made between the US and its business partners at the cost of Chinese interests. The statement said, “If such a situation arises, China will not accept it and will strongly take back steps to it.” China has the right to resolve and also has the ability to protect its valid rights and interests.
The spokesperson said that under the guise of the so -called 'answer', the US has recently been charged arbitrarily on all its business partners, and pressurizing them to join the so -called 'counter -fee' dialogue. He said, 'This is basically being used as a unilateral bullying in the fields of authoritarian politics and international economy and trade.' This tough stance of China has come in the midst of the reports that many countries, against which US President Donald Trump had imposed a fee.
