A rally was organized by Sanatan Jagran Manch on Friday 22 November in Rangpur, Bangladesh. A bus arriving to attend the rally was attacked on the way. 20 people have been injured in the attack, out of which 3 are seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to the local hospital.
The purpose of this rally held in the grounds of Mahiganj College was to protest against the atrocities, oppression and attacks on Hindus and monasteries and temples. The people participating in the rally had come to demonstrate with 8-point demands. Chief guest of the rally, Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari, alleged discrimination against Hindus in the country.
Looting of property and houses of Hindus continues
Chinmay Das said that 70% of those who left the country to save their lives during the 1971 freedom struggle were Hindus. Their houses and belongings were looted. This trend continues even after so many years of independence.
Chinmoy Das alleged that after August 5, terrorists, extremists and leaders have been released from jail in the country. But no Hindu has been spared. Hindus are not supporters of any political party. In future Hindus will vote for that party which will maintain democracy. He said that today 3 crore Sanatanis are united.
Chinmoy Das said that the bus coming to attend the rally was attacked. He also called one of the injured persons on the stage.
A large number of people arrived to participate in the rally.

Chinmay Das said in a press conference on the night of 21 November that he was asked to leave the hotel in Rangpur. The police told them that we cannot be kept here.
