According to preliminary investigation, 27-year-old Sabrina Krasnicki shot her 34-year-old husband Pietimi Krasnicki five times in a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The couple lived in a luxury oceanfront condo in the Hallandale Beach area near Miami, Florida. According to United States time, this murder took place on November 27 at 12:30 pm.
Hallandale Beach Police recovered the bodies of Sabrina and Paitimi from the scene. Drone footage from local media showed gunshots and blood stains on the apartment's glass door. A heart-shaped box, roses and a teddy bear were seen at the scene, suggesting a romantic atmosphere preceded the tragedy.
The couple's death was confirmed by Albana Krasnicki, Pietimi Krasnicki's sister. He posted a post on Facebook on November 28, the day after the incident. Albana wrote, 'Instead of spending Thanksgiving evening with family, I spent it with police, detectives and the media. They were talking about the brutal and senseless killing of my younger brother.'
He also wrote, 'Paitimi's wife took my brother's life with five shots. The one he trusted the most, the one he wanted to spend his life with, ended his life. He has betrayed Paitimi's love and trust.'
