About 46,000 people were killed in the Israeli invasion of Gaza

The Israeli occupation of the Gaza Strip has been going on for almost 15 months. About 46,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli aggression in the region during this time. More than 1 lakh 9 thousand were injured. In addition, at least 11,000 people have gone missing in Gaza due to Israeli aggression. This information is known from the report of Turkey's state-run news agency Anadolu Agency.

Anadolu Agency, citing the Gaza Health Ministry, said that at least 31 more Palestinians were killed in the previous 24 hours on Tuesday evening in the Israeli aggression in Gaza. As a result, the death toll from October 7, 2023 to yesterday evening has increased to 45 thousand 885.

The Ministry of Health of Gaza said in a statement that 196,000 people have been injured in the ongoing Israeli aggression. It also said, 'In three killings in the last 24 hours, Israeli forces have killed 31 people and wounded 57 people. Many people are still trapped in the rubble and on the streets, as rescue workers are unable to reach them.'

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said Israeli occupation forces have systematically and systematically targeted Palestinian health workers. Israel has killed 1,56 health workers and arrested 350 since October 7 last year.

Bashar Murad, Director of Health Programs at PRCS, said in a statement that “serious human rights violations against health workers, including paramedics, first aid teams, and ambulance and hospital workers, are taking place between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.” Israel has committed violations.'

The statement further noted that Israeli occupation forces systematically targeted and destroyed four branches of the PRCS in Gaza. Meanwhile, the Jabalia branch of northern Gaza has been completely destroyed.

Murad added that the Al-Amal Complex, the largest PRCS center in Gaza City, was also targeted. 47 Palestinians were killed in the Israeli attack there. Among the dead were medical and paramedic workers and displaced persons sheltering there.

This worker of the Palestinian Red Crescent also said that although international law guarantees the protection of the Red Crescent and the Red Cross in war and conflict areas, Israel has systematically destroyed about 80 percent of the capabilities of the PRCS in the Gaza Strip.

Murad said, “As a result of the Israeli military aggression, 32 workers of the Red Crescent have been killed. Most of them have been targeted directly and systematically while serving in the Gaza Strip.'

Earlier, Tel Aviv has been waging a genocidal war in the Gaza Strip since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7 last year. The UN Security Council called for an immediate ceasefire but did not end the fighting.

Last November, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. A genocide case is pending against Israel at the International Court of Justice over the deadly war in Gaza.
