Two lawyers in police custody in Nuh, Haryana, accused of spying for Pakistan

After advocate Rizwan Khan, who was arrested on charges of Pakistani espionage from Khadkhadi village of Tawadu police station area of Nuh district, now his fellow advocate Musharraf alias Parvez has also been taken into custody by the investigating agencies.

According to media reports, at around 1 am in the night, two police vehicles reached Parvez’s house and a dozen soldiers knocked on his door. Parvez himself opened the gate, after which armed policemen immediately took him into custody.

No information has been received yet after my son was taken – Dilawar

Parvez’s father Dilawar alias Dilla told that while being caught, his son felt severe pain in his hand because his hand was fractured in a road accident three months ago and had also undergone operation. The father told that the family has not been able to get any information about Parvez since he was taken away. The only thing that has come to light is that after Rizwan Khan Advocate was taken into custody, Musharraf alias Parvez was also summoned after making him call late at night.

So far, two lawyers have been detained in this case, but neither has there been any official confirmation of anyone’s arrest nor has there been any news of their release. Both the investigating agencies and Nuh police are refraining from making any comment in this matter.

Parvez’s elder brother is posted in the Indian Army – Dilawar

This matter is no less than a shock for the family members. Parvez’s elder brother Ijaz has been posted in the Indian Army since 2013. The family says that patriotism is in their values, hence they find it absolutely impossible for Parvez to face serious charges like espionage. The family says that they do not have any relatives or contacts in Pakistan, hence there appears to be no basis for this allegation.

According to the information, Parvez had practiced in various bars in Gurugram, Sohna and Nuh a few years ago. Rizwan Khan Advocate had helped him in getting seats at these places, due to which both of them remained in touch. The family says that it is completely wrong to link this relationship with espionage.

The family is demanding a fair and quick investigation.

There has been silence in Parvez’s house since he was taken into custody. The visits of acquaintances and relatives are continuing at the house of Parvez, a resident of Banksi village. The family is demanding a fair and speedy investigation and they are confident that Parvez will be proven innocent.
