Messaging platform WhatsApp has introduced a new feature 'Custom Chat List', this new feature will give extra benefits to any group chat. A WhatsApp group of choice or a specific conversation according to importance can also be kept in front of the eyes.
A few days ago, WhatsApp introduced some features called 'Unread', 'Favourites', 'Groups'. Messages that have not been read can be found separately in the 'Unread' option, and the profile with whom you chat the most can be left in the 'Favorites' option so that you don't have to search. This time, the new feature 'Custom Chat List' will bring these options under one umbrella.
WhatsApp said, with the help of this feature, customers can separate their chats into several parts. It can be divided into different categories such as 'Family', 'Workplace', 'Friends' etc. As a result, there will be no need to search separately among many chats.
With the help of the new feature, new list of people in the contact list can be created and it can also be edited if necessary. The custom list feature allows customers to list multiple groups of their choice in addition to individual chats. You will also get the benefit of having them 'pin to top' or right in front of your eyes. Whether from an office group or a personal profile – finding an important conversation will also be easy.
How to make a custom list
- Update WhatsApp first.
- A 'Add' symbol will appear on the top right of WhatsApp. Clicking on it will show a popup saying 'Organize Your Chat'. Click there.
- List favorite profiles by category.
- If a chat needs to be displayed separately, then you can go to the 'Add People or Group' option and select a specific profile or chat and place it on the top row.
