Sony's DSLR cameras have AI features


Sony Electronics has unveiled 'Alpha 1 II', a full-frame mirrorless camera for professional photographers and videographers. This camera can take high resolution photos at high speed. Along with this, several features based on artificial intelligence (AI) have also been added. So the camera can be used to shoot wildlife, sports, portraits and weddings. It can be used in various commercial activities including photojournalism.

The camera has a 50.1 megapixel Exmor RS CMOS sensor, capable of blackout-free (no black screen) continuous shooting at 30 frames per second. The camera can detect the main subject of the photo through AI technology. The camera also features advanced optical image stabilization (up to 8.5 stops).

The camera has a 'pre-capture' feature capable of recording images up to one second before the shutter button is pressed and supports 8K 30P and 4K 120 PVD recording.

Advanced stabilization mode and the camera will support LUT files.

Sony's new camera has a 3.2-inch 4-axis multi-angle LCD screen. The camera has a better grip and has different buttons to customize. Besides, pictures can be transferred easily through 2.5 GBs-T LAN and 5G connector. In addition to this, integration with Adobe Lightroom and Google Drive is possible through Sony's Creator Cloud.

The special feature of Sony's new camera is 'Camera Authenticity Solution'. It uses AI to add metadata to images in image creation. The feature will be available in a future software update. Besides, this time Sony is using plastic free packaging. The packaging is made from bamboo, bamboo and recycled paper.

'Alpha 1 II' will be unveiled in December 2024. Its price is 6 thousand 499 dollars. It will have dual battery charger and dip-type eyepiece cap accessories.

The new camera has been designed based on user feedback. The camera will serve as a powerful tool for professionals.
