Microsoft warns by typing ‘Browse safely’ by Windows users when installing Google Chrome. The company claims that the ‘Microsoft-Ez’ runs in the same technology as Chrome, but it has Microsoft’s credibility. Although such warnings are not new, it is going to become stronger soon, Forbes said.
According to the report, most of Windows users are still using Google Chrome as an initial browser. The market share of this browser is about six times higher than ‘Microsoft Edge’. In this situation, Microsoft has been campaigning for many years. For example, Bing vs. Google, or artificial intelligence, or Artificial Intelligence, the company wants to keep Windows users ‘Microsoft-dependent’ in all cases.
According to a recent report by Windows latest, Microsoft is now specially encouraging Google Chrome users to go to Edge by targeting users. A new campaign shows that when a user finishes work on Google Chrome, a message is coming to Windows – ‘Pin in the Microsoft Edge Taskbar.’ That is, they want you to permanently add the shortcut to the Microsoft Edge browser in the taskbar.
In this way, Edge will always be at hand if pinning the taskbar and will encourage the user to run the edge instead of the Chrome when the browser opens in the future.
This new strategy is yet to be tested in the ‘Canary’ version, not yet released. This method also has specific code-flag, which will be active if the Google Chrome use rate is more than 5 percent.
Windows latest says, “The purpose is clear, if you use chrome most of the time, then the message of the edge pin will be shown at the moment of the browser.”
Although these flags are still in the development phase, warnings and browser suggestions have already been active during the installation of Chrome.
Google has already complained that Microsoft is trying to remove users from the chrome in ‘dishonest way’. So far, these efforts have not been able to make users a major change in the habit. Microsoft, however, is forced to use Edge in a corporate or safe work.
