Instagram announced on Wednesday that some new features were launched in their direct message (DM) service. This time users can easily share the music in translation, schedule and chat window. In the past, where users could pinch a maximum of three chat threads, they can now pin the specific messages.
Instagram reveals details of the new features in their blog post. The first feature is the translation of the message, which will give users the opportunity to translate the message sent by others to the choice. Currently the feature supports 5 languages. Instagram said the translated messages will be shared with Meta.
Another new feature is the message schedule. Just as Apple's iOS 4 updates the message schedule on the iPhone was introduced, users will be able to schedule the message on Instagram. Users can only select the 'Send' button and send the message by selecting the date and time to schedule. In addition, the reminder can also be scheduled.
Instagram has confirmed the benefits of finding important chats in their new update and accessing them easily. Earlier where there was an opportunity to pin three chat threads, users can now pin the specific message. To use the feature, you need to select the 'PIN' option by pressing the message.
Meanwhile, you can share a 5 second music preview in the chat window when talking about new music in DM. The advantage is effective in both general chat and group chat. For music shares, you should go to the chat sticker tray by clicking the 'Music' option and find the favorite song and select the track and send a 5 second preview.
Finally, the benefits of sharing the personalized QR code for group chat have been added. Users can now create a specific group chat QR code and share it with others. Others can scan the code and join that group chat. Instagram said it would not need to add each person to the group separately.
