Internet service will be temporarily disrupted tomorrow Sunday (December 1) from 3:00 PM to 5:59 AM for maintenance work aimed at solving the cable fault of the country's first submarine cable system (SMW4) in Cox's Bazar.
Bangladesh Submarine Cables Plc (BSCPLC) informed this information in a circular today (November 30).
According to the notification, the maintenance activities of the country's first submarine cable system (SMW4) installed at Cox's Bazar near Chennai Landing Station and Singapore end near Tuas Landing Station have been undertaken by the consortium to resolve the cable faults.
During this time, services will be temporarily disrupted through SMW4 on the Cox's Bazar to Chennai route and the circuits connected to the Singapore route. Because of this, BSCPLC is sincerely sorry for the temporary inconvenience to the customers.
