Market research firm Counterpoint has compiled a list of the top 10 best-selling smartphones worldwide in the third quarter of the year. According to the list, five of the top 10 best-selling smartphone models are made by Samsung. Four iPhone models made by Apple are also on the list.

Global smartphone sales rose 2 percent to 307 million units in the third quarter, according to Counterpoint data. Samsung is at the top with a 19 percent share in terms of sales. And in terms of income, Apple is on top of all.
