One of the reasons for falling into the hacking trap is not having a strong password. Many people use passwords that are too easy to remember. This is the obstacle. So it is important to be careful while using passwords.
In selecting a password
- Ever simple and common passwords; Do not use eg 12345, 1111, 0000, ABCDE etc.
- First letter of own or loved one's name cannot be used.
- Keep a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, signs and digits in the password.
- Change the password occasionally. At least after three months.
- Do not use any letters or digits from the previous password in the new password.
- Do not use the same password for multiple accounts. If one is hacked, others are at risk.
To increase security
- For accounts that have the option of two-step authentication, keep it turned on.
- If available, use biometric passwords (fingerprints or eyeballs) for password protection.
- Never click on links from unknown sources.
- Never share password with anyone.
