Open WhatsApp on Android smartphone. Select the chat or chats you want to keep private. Now tap on the three dots option on the right side corner of the screen, here tap on the Lock Chat option. A pop-up will appear on the screen. Where it will be written 'Keep this chat locked and hidden.' Then press Continue to lock the selected chats. Through this user can block chat easily. These can be opened through the phone's biometric, face or fingerprint. If the chat is locked, both the notification contact and the content will be hidden. If the user wants to make these chats public, then go to the locked chats folder. Then select the one you want to unblock. Click on the three dot icon and then tap on unblock chat.
