Most messaging apps only offer the opportunity to send text in general. However, the exception is WhatsApp. It can be arranged in the text format or itself before sending it to the message. Bold, Italic, Strikethrew, and Monospes on this platform – these four text formatting supports. These can be highlighted in addition to enhancing the beauty of the writing as well as the important part of the message.
There are two ways to format. They were given-
1. Visual editor
It's very easy. There is no need to remember any 'chit code' here!
Android: When writing a message, pressing on one word or selecting many words will show a small menu above. Tap this menu to three dot icons. Select Bold, Italic, Strikethoo, and Monospace options from the menu.
IOS or iPados: Select by pressing one word or multiple words. Then tap the BIU option above. Then you will get bold, Italic, Strikethoo, and Monospeace options. Select them.
2. To use the formatting shortcut
If you prefer to type quickly or want to give more than one word format, it may be more effective. But you need to remember the formatting rules.
Here are some special marks for text formatting.
Use Underscore (_) for Italic. Eg: _Text_
Star mark for the bold's
Have to use. Eg: *text *
Use the tild mark (~) for strikethrough. Eg: ~ text ~
Use Monospace's backic (“). Eg: “ `Text““`
This way you can format text in WhatsApp. In the case of the desktop version, the above formatting options will be seen after selecting a word with a keyboard. References:
