The cover of Time magazine, the influential magazine of the United States, published the list of billionaire Elon Musk's 'to do list' or action plan. However, Musk clearly stated that this is not Musk's personal checklist.
In December 2024, a checklist was published with Elon Musk on the cover of Time magazine. The issue of Time magazine was titled 'Citizen Mask: What's Next on His To-Do List?' . This list mentions some of Musk's major achievements. For example: 'electric cars', 'becoming the richest man in the world', 'buying Twitter', 'launching rockets', 'bringing back rockets', 'replacing chips in human brains', 'electing Trump; etc. However, check marks were not given on two subjects besides '$2 trillion' and 'Journey to Mars'.
In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Elon Musk said, 'I have not given any media interviews and want to clarify that this is not actually my checklist. I am trying to make life multiplanetary, to increase the potential lifespan of consciousness. Some of these tasks are necessary to achieve this goal.
Elon Musk is the founder and CEO of SpaceX. He has set a target for the first unmanned Mars mission by 2026. According to various sources, Musk has spent more than 100 million dollars on Donald Trump's campaign in the US presidential election.
Musk has joined Vivek Ramaswamy to lead the newly formed 'Department of Government Efficiency' in addition to helping Trump campaign. The purpose of this department is to reduce federal government spending and reorganize agencies.
Trump said the new department would include experts. It will work with the White House and the Office of Management and Budget.
Musk said he is working to cut $2 trillion from the federal government's $7 trillion budget.
He also said that since his historic victory over Kamala Harris earlier this month, he will remain firmly on Trump's side.
