Arab Finance: The Petroleum Projects and Technical Consulting Company, Petrojet, affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum, has implemented projects for the Algerian energy giant Sonatrach with a total business volume exceeding $6 billion since 2006, according to what Eqtisad Al-Sharq reported.
The company is also keen to have a greater presence in Algeria. Due to the country's stability, distance from geopolitical tensions, and enjoyment of a promising market.
Petrojet also signed a framework agreement with Sonatrach to establish a factory to produce static equipment such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels and distillation towers, which are used in petroleum and industrial projects and power stations. It is expected that production of the first equipment bearing the Made in Algeria mark will begin within a year.
