Khaleda has completed the Fox Deep-02, whose results showed the presence of layers carrying oil in the “Boop Science” and Alamein, where the thickness of the layer of the oil is 110 feet, and this results of the well test on the “Boop” layer showed a preliminary production rate of about 2600 barrels of raw oil per day, and the completion of the tests is scheduled to complete the tests Technical and installation of the artificial lift pump, in preparation for placing the well on production during the month of June.

Khalda also completed the Tayim-W14 development work to target the Desouki layer at the top of the tank.

The results of the well test on the Desouki layer showed a preliminary production rate of approximately 2,800 barrels of raw oil per day, and the well is expected to be placed on production during the month of June, after completing the tests and lowering the pump.

These promising results come as a continuation of the efforts of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources to develop discovered fields and expedite their production, in order to enhance the stability of the local energy market and reduce the burden of the import bill.
