UP Madarasa Act: The Supreme Court canceled the decision of the Allahabad High Court, which had declared the UP Madarasa Act unconstitutional. The Supreme Court said in its order that madrassas will be able to give certificates up to class 12, but they do not have the right to give certificates beyond that.

Now reactions have started coming from the entire country on the decision of the Supreme Court. Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President Maulana Mahmood Madani, while talking to ABP News, said that the decision of the High Court was not based on facts but was unfortunate. The Supreme Court had also commented two days ago that the decisions taken in small courts are wrong and justice is not provided. This decision of the Supreme Court is a good decision and the Supreme Court has rejected the decision of the High Court.

'Not only madrassas but also Gurukuls are included'

Talking about the importance of the Supreme Court's decision, Maulana Mahmood Madani told ABP News that this Act which has been made is not only for Madrassas but Gurukuls are also included in it. This includes institutions of different religions. There is only a small part of Madrasa in it.

Describing the Supreme Court's decision as historic, Maulana Mahmood Madani said that it is not only a victory of justice but also a reason for satisfaction and encouragement for Indian Muslims and especially those associated with madrassas. We are not looking at this only from the perspective of the Madrasa Board, but this is an important decision in the context of the ongoing negative campaign by communal elements regarding Madrasas.
