Sehwag-Aarti knew each other since childhood
Virender Sehwag got married on 22 April 2004. His wife's name is Aarti Ahlawat. Both knew each other since childhood. Aarti's aunt was married to Sehwag's cousin. Aarti and Virender Sehwag are parents of two children, Aryaveer and Vedant. When Sehwag used to bat, he always kept humming. He used to listen to Kishore Kumar's songs. He said that this helps him maintain concentration in his batting.
Sehwag's cricket career
Sehwag made his ODI debut against Pakistan on 01 April 1999 in Mohali. He played 104 Test and 251 ODI matches for Team India. In Tests, Sehwag scored 8586 runs at an average of 47.34 and strike rate of 82.34. In ODIs, Veeru has scored 8273 runs at an average of 35.05 and an explosive strike rate of 104.33. Sehwag has 23 centuries and 32 half-centuries in his name in Tests, while in ODI cricket he has scored 15 centuries and 38 half-centuries.
