Bangladesh won the toss
Bangladesh won the toss in the first Test of the series against West Indies in Antigua. After winning the toss, acting captain Mehdi Hasan Miraj decided to bowl in the beginning.
Miraj won the toss and said, first hour is very important. So even though the wicket looks good, he wants to use the advantage of the first hour. West Indies captain Craig Brathwaite also said that if he had won the toss, he would have taken the bowling.
Sir Vivian Richards stadium in Antigua is a slaughter ground for Bangladeshi batters! The batsmen were unsuccessful in the last two Tests at this ground. Playing for the first time in 2018, they were bowled out for just 43 runs in the first innings. Which is the team's lowest in Tests. Four years later had the same fate! The visitors were all out for 103 runs in the first innings.
