Muminul Haque now owns the most embarrassing Test record for Bangladesh. He now has the record of getting out for the most zero runs with the bat.
Muminul returned for zero runs on the first day of the first innings against the West Indies in the last Jamaica Test. He returned the embarrassing record empty-handed. The record was held by Mohammad Ashraful till now. However, he also holds the record for most wickets like Muminul's, he also owns the most number of centuries for the country.
After playing 119 innings, Ashraful was dismissed 16 times for zero runs. Muminul, who surpassed him, returned to zero in 128 innings 17 times! Mushfiqur Rahim, Syed Khaled Ahme and Taijul Islam are jointly in the top three. All of them got out for zero runs 13 times.
Only Courtney Walsh holds the record for most wickets in Tests overall. The Caribbean legend returned to zero 43 times.
