ICC canceled trophy tour to three cities of Pakistan over India's objection. They are going to organize an ICC tournament after 28 years. However, India has been raising various objections since the beginning. They have also informed the World Cricket governing body that they will not tour Pakistan to play the Champions Trophy.
However, Pakistan will host a big tournament after a long time. They are very excited for this. The trophy tour of 'ICC Champions Trophy 2025' is starting from tomorrow in Pakistan to increase the excitement and engage the cricket lovers. From November 16 to 24, the trophy will tour various cities in Pakistan.
Yesterday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced which cities will host the ICC Champions Trophy. Soon after its announcement, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) objected to the trophy tour in three cities. Due to their objections, the ICC today ruled out those three cities from the trophy tour. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has informed the government of their country about this matter of ICC.
The three cities are Skardu in the Gilgit-Baltistan region, Muri, one of the world's most popular tourist areas, and Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-administered Azad Kashmir. There is a dispute between India and Pakistan over these places. In the meantime, the Champions Trophy has reached Islamabad. From there, the trophy will go to Ketu, the second highest mountain in the world.
