The 15-time fastest Manavi has to make his debut as an organizer even though he has been fighting in the field for so long. Shireen Akhtar has been appointed as the student representative of Jessore University of Science and Technology in Athletics Federation. The country's fastest humanitarian Shirin Akhtar was coming to Dhaka by plane from Jessore. He was caught on the phone after arriving in Dhaka. He said, for the time being, he wants to be the fastest human!
The next question comes. So what organizer and athlete will carry the identity together? Shirin replied with a smile – 'Actually, I didn't think about anything like that. I am still an athlete. I have been made a member of the Federation. I know this much. Now I have come to Dhaka. I will check with the federation. I will try to understand after the first meeting. Then see what happens.'
At the national event, however, Shireen will run on the track. He said it frankly. Not wanting to miss out on the current fastest man spot. He said, 'I am in practice. If there are any games, I can get down to the 100m sprint, so that I can get success once more.'
There is a conflict of interest when the organizers and the players are together. Then whether to organize or play in the field, it is very difficult to combine the two. Shirin said, 'Actually, I haven't thought about this completely yet. Only there is a place in the committee. Talk to everyone. But I'm not quitting the game just yet. That's all I can say.'
Another member of the federation directly said, 'It is not right to take a place in the federation when there is a player. Better after retirement. Then there will be a conflict of interest. I think Shireen should choose either one for now. Then it will be good for him.'
